So..... here we have it........my new Zoints profile, full of lots of nice pickys with lovely people. I have made a new years resolution to make more of an effort to do the things in life that I enjoy, one of those things is to play on my laptop more and another is to start and do some form of regular exercise. By regular I mean at least 2-3 times a week. In the past I have had probably about 3 occasions where I have started to exercise and then packed it in after a month or so. This time its different, theres only so long I can go through life being a lazy trout and hoping that  some divine body (as a gesture of goodwill) will ensure my body remains in a teenage state for the rest of my life, reality has to hit at some point!! So far I have joined a gym and taken up swimming, oh and attempted to do a couple of exercise classes. The gyms ok, I have a coupla gym buddies who look almost as silly as me and I love the swimming, but the exercise classes........well, the yoga was fine except my balance is as good as a one legged tight rope walker and the step aerobics was a complete disaster. Its not that I haven't any rhythm its just everything was so fast and I lost count how many times I actually tripped on the bloody box itself, it was almost like my legs had a brain of their own, they just wouldn't do what I wanted them to do......nightmare!!! I thought it would have been a lot easier, anyway, my legs have now been killing me for 3 days, especially my calf's, feel sorry for myself. I know I look stupid walking around like I'm constipated, and stretching hasn't worked either!!!  I also need to be a little more patient, halfway through the step class I could feel myself getting really really mardy......(like a kid who's been denied sweets)....this I am sure is a natural reaction at being completely crap at something!!! I am naturally a little clumsy but, this class really took the biscuit........I mean, there were women in their 50's who were managing perfectly well, why can't I do it??? Bet they can't do an hour and a half in the gym though!!! At least thats what I lead myself to believe to make myself feel better!!! So there we have it, can't think of anything else to write at the mo so I'll sign off for now, hopefully next time I am here, my legs will have stopped hurting and I'll have forgotten all about that embarrassing class.........
